Modern Slavery Statement

Introduction

In accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, AccessTec Ltd is committed to a work environment that is free from human trafficking, forced labour, or unlawful child labour. We also strongly believe that we has a responsibility to promote ethical employment practices. Accordingly, AccessTec will not knowingly use unlawful child labour or forced labour in any of the services we provide, or in our product supply chain, nor will we accept products or services from suppliers that utilise child or forced labour. This constitutes our initial annual statement for 2020 to meet the requirements of Section 54 of the Act.

Organisation and Supply Chain

AccessTec is a supplier of work at height services, predominantly on wind turbines.

We typical mobilise our staff from the UK to provide services. All personnel need to be technically qualified and experienced to work in the industry sectors in which we operate. We have rigorous HR policies and procedures to ensure personnel conditions and recruitment are appropriate. We do not use casual labour or migrant labour. Our supply chains are short and principally of a technical nature. Most of our suppliers are for services, including commercial travel and facilities maintenance in the UK. Geographically, and considering the nature of our services, the risk of unlawful labour in our supply chain is low.

Responsibility

AccessTec has appointed its Directors as senior compliance officers. They will take appropriate steps to ensure not only its own compliance but also that these requirements are followed by its suppliers and business partners (collectively by its “Suppliers”).

Due Diligence

Our supplier due diligence is set out in our Supplier and Approved Supplier Policy which details the process, registration and initial audit carried out when taking on new suppliers. It also details our process to periodically reviewing existing suppliers and the process for dealing with suppliers that do not meet the required standard, for example identifying action to improve or to terminate the business relationship if the required improvement is not forthcoming.

Key Performance Indicators

AccessTec is developing its suite of corporate policies to embrace the changing needs of business to recognise the importance of many aspects of corporate social responsibility. To monitor our performance on these important topics the following are KPIs to both establish and monitor the necessary actions:

• Draft and issue a revised Approved Supplier Policy with robust measures for monitoring supply

• Draft and implement awareness for all staff – within 4Q 2020;
