What To Expect
On Site
The on-site facilities and protocols will vary depending on the client, country and whether you are on/offshore. The site induction will bring you up to speed with any site specific rules, Emergency Response Procedures, access codes etc. All important information is also in the RAMS and if there is anything that is unclear please flag this before starting work.

What's provided?
AccessTec will provide all necessary PPE (except boots!), rope access equipment and rescue kit. If you would like to use any of your own equipment we will try and accommodate you, this will need to be agreed by Pete and Alex before starting a project.
If approved we ask that you maintain an inspection record and provide the serial number and record.

All necessary tools and equipment to complete the job will be provided or sourced as required. Technicians in the field are responsible for stock management of materials and consumables to arrange re-stock as required. Occasionally it will fall to the teams themselves to organise this as discussed with the office. Technicians will be reimbursed for any approved expenditure.

We will provide a camera, iPad and internet access where possible. Please use these for photos and reports.

All on you M8
Whether you're on or offshore you have to be prepared for all possibilities of weather and that things on windfarms do not always go according to plan... Bring more food, clothes and water than you think you'll need. Suncream and thermals, and everything in between.

Most onshore sites provide toilets, drinking water, or may have a basic kitchen - but not all do. And they may be miles from where you are working. If you are on a site which allows our teams to use their kitchens, showers, workshops etc. please be very respectful of their facilities and leave them clean and tidy afterwards.

Midge nets recommended.

Offshore - once you've left the transfer vessel you will need everything for the day with you.
